Making the November Chrysanthemum
November’s birth flower is the chrysanthemum! In full bloom, these flowers can look like little pom-poms and come in just about any color. Stitch this design for yourself or gift it to a friend who was born in November! The November Chrysanthemum is great for beginner and seasoned crafters alike.
Stitches in the November Chrysanthemum pattern
The November Chrysanthemum is loaded with some great colors and lots of stitches! The piece is first outlined with the chain stitch in Denim Wash. Then we tackle those pom pom looking flowers with the backstitch! This stitch is great to cover a lot of surface area that's tight together. The petals are stitched in their main colors - You're a Peach and Petal - and the center of each flower is stitched in Goldenrod.
Then, for the rest of this amazing pattern, we put in some dark green stems with the stem stitch and we finish with some large leaves completed with the split stitch.
