The basics:
- Returns are accepted for 14 days after item delivery
- We will provide free return shipping
- There is no restocking fee
We have a 14-day refund or exchange policy on damaged or defective products. You will have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return or exchange for the item (pending the item is still in stock).
If your order has missing or incorrect items, please contact us at info@penguinandfish.com and we will correct your order. Penguin & Fish is not responsible for lost or damaged packaging caused by USPS or other shipping carriers.

T-shirt and Mug orders do not follow the above policies as they are produced and fulfilled by third-party suppliers. Please contact us at info@penguinandfish.com if you have any issues with your order.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item at info@penguinandfish.com.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items, PDF patterns, or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at info@penguinandfish.com.
Subscriptions
We do not issue refunds or returns on subscription products. If your product arrives damaged please contact us at info@penguinandfish.com.
When you subscribe, we process your card right away for the current month, and you'll be shipped the current month's design. You'll then be charged on the 1st of every month after that, the same day the new month's design is released.
Subscriptions can be managed in your Penguin & Fish account with easy access to skip a month, swap subscriptions, or cancel at any time.
