This is a fun embroidery kit to do. I LOVE using different thicknesses of threads.... I'm thinking of using all the the monthly kits to put a quilt together, much like the alphabet blocks. This is so relaxing to do after a busy day!!!

This was my first embroidery project, so I was grateful for the helpful "how to" that came along with the kit. I also knew that I could reference the Penguin and Fish YouTube videos for assistance. The videos were SUPER helpful. I am a visual learner, so being able to see how to do something, stop and pause the video where I felt stuck was super helpful in allowing me to understand the flow of embroidery. I learned a lot of useful tips. I had so much fun, I got lost in the project and was eager to finish! I did my kit on a tea towel that I purchased from Penguin and Fish and gave it to my Mom as a gift, she is hanging it at the house next to her tea cups and saucers on display. Thank you for making my first attempt at embroidery fun and approachable!
