and Fundraiser
Relax and stitch something cute this year. Join us as we embroider our classic ABC Animals collection and sew it into a quilt-as-you-go style quilt.

January 31, 2022 - February 2023
- Embroider two ABC Animal embroideries (A-Z) each month.
- Great for beginners! No previous embroidery knowledge necessary.
- Live stream stitching during the first two full weeks of every month.
- Make a quilt with us! We will be making our ABC Animals into a quilt using the quilt-as-you-go process, and will auction off the final quilt. Join us and make a quilt of your own or feel free to make whatever you'd like with your letters! Create a bag, spell out a name, or simply frame your favorites in a hoop for the nursery.
A portion of all ABC pattern and bundle sales, will be donated to the Minneapolis Crisis Nursery.
We will also be donating the proceeds from the final quilt auction that will take place in 2023.

Join the ABC Stitch Along LIVE on the FREE Penguin & Fish Livestream, Monday through Friday nights from 8:30-9:30 pm Central Time on Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok. We'll be stitching letters during the 1st and 2nd full week of each month.

The Minneapolis Crisis Nursery
The mission of the Minneapolis Crisis Nursery is to end child abuse and neglect and create strong, healthy families. They do this by providing a safe place for children to stay as well as supporting parents through resources, referrals, and a listening ear. The Crisis Nursery is a trusted resource for families in their time of crisis.
Jenna, who works with Penguin & Fish, worked with many of these families in her previous job and experienced firsthand the courage and vulnerability it takes for these parents to reach out for help, as well as the gentle, caring response of the Minneapolis Crisis Nursery.
10% of the sales from each purchase of the ABC Animal patterns and bundles will be donated the Crisis Nursery. The finished ABC Stitch Along quilt will also be auctioned off to raise more funds.
