How it works: We'll design a stitch-friendly pattern of your pet based on a photo you send. You get to decide if you want the pet's name included in the design as well as choose a name for your pattern. Then, we'll turn your custom design into a complete embroidery kit for you and mail you the kit, a printable PDF pattern, and an SVG file.
Note: The design will be an artistic interpretation based on the pictures you send us. There will be no proofs sent before the completion of your bundle. If there is a specific concern/feature you'd like us to know about, be sure to include this in your email to us after purchase.

Each embroidery kit includes:
- 1 - 10 1/2-inch fabric square, pre-printed with your pet's pattern
- Pocket Skeins embroidery floss (enough to complete the project)
- 1 embroidery needle
- (1) 8-inch embroidery hoop
- A high-quality color postcard of the finished embroidery
- Detailed embroidery instructions including how to get started, a color and stitch guide, and basic embroidery stitches

The Stitch Your Pet custom PDF Pattern is the best way to stitch your pet again and again. The pattern includes traceable and reversed line art, a stitch and color guide, embroidery instructions, and a link to embroidery stitch video tutorials.
The Stitch Your Pet custom SVG file can be used with any digital cutting machine to make your own fun products!
The Process After Ordering:
Once you've placed your order and paid, you can expect an email from us about the next steps. After we receive images of your pet, we'll start designing! You can expect your design to be finished in about 2-3 weeks. When we finish the pattern, we'll make and ship your embroidery kit and email you the PDF and SVG files.
Tips for sending a good photo:
- For the best results, try to find a photo of your pet that is straight on the face or slightly turned, not a photo from behind with the head turned or from above.
- Make sure the image is clear, in focus, and has adequate lighting. Stay away from those blurry action shots.
- You'll want the whole face of your pet in the pattern, so be sure to send a photo that doesn't have any edges of the face cropped out.
- Finally, although it's not necessary, an image of a dog with an open mouth can make them look like they're smiling, which is a fun and sweet touch.
