It has been more than 40 years ago that I last did quite a lot of embroidery. Only cross-stitch. I love to see embroidery and have hanging around me some beautiful pieces i inherited. I see the labour, love and leisure time in it. Since 5 years I watch YouTube, mainly for quilting, but also other handicrafts. My whole live I have this embroidery hoop in my vicinity and never used it. And I have some tablecloth with free stitchery. Then Alyssa's funny, happy Raccoon came along, with the workshop. That was it, all the ingrediënts were there and I took off.
So far I like all the stitches, except the Splitstitch. Can you see!? I have got the floss above the jumper. But, omg, I missed the one red stitch of the jumper. The day I started a YT Lady suggested using a double cloth when using the hoop and I think it is a success.
Enough writing, back to stitching.
