-Color 1: Body front and back, eye backs, legs - 1/4 yard (not a fat quarter)
-Color 2: Spikes - 5" x 18" (approx. 13cm x 46cm) or a 3" x 36" (approx. 8cm x 92cm) scrap
-Color 3: Teeth - 8" x 14" (approx. 21cm x 36cm) scrap or various scraps that add up to that amount
-Color 4: Eye fronts - small scrap of white, or use the same color as teeth
-Color 5: Mouth - 10.5" x 3" (approx. 27cm x 8cm) scrap
-Belly: 13 strips measuring 2.5" x 4.5" (approx. 7cm x 12cm) made from various scraps
For pupils of eyes
-Option A: Embroidery - 1 skein of dark embroidery floss, 12" (approx. 31cm) piece of white embroidery floss
-Option B: Applique - small scrap of dark-colored felt, 1 skein of matching embroidery floss, 12" (approx. 31cm) piece of white embroidery floss
